Our Forest Hospitality Mission is related essentially to our Guest House Mission: to welcome all guests to a safe and spiritual environment of natural beauty; to reflect, to pray, to heal and to grow spiritually.
We welcome you to our monastery forest. It has been cherished by monks for over 60 years. We offer a hospitality that will preserve and respect the wildlife. Therefore we ask you that you please follow the Guidelines for Guests posted below.
We are a monastery of Cistercian (Trappist) monks who are devoted to a life of contemplative prayer, manual labor, spiritual study and hospitality. Our Lady of Guadalupe Abbey began in April 1948 at Pecos in New Mexico. In 1955 our community moved to the Williamette Valley of Oregon
