Guest house retreats are undirected, however monks are available for a spiritual direction session upon request. A library is available as well as a wide assortment of audio tapes at Bethany House.

Day Rooms:

Small rooms are available for day use only. Meals are included in this arrangement, and we ask a donation of $20 per day. Guests are limited to one day per month for use of our day rooms.

Reservations are taken up to four months in advance and can be placed by calling 503-852-0107 between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.

* We prefer telephone reservations so availability might be discussed and confirmation made.

* Frequency of Stays: Overnight guests are limited to no more than 2 stays per year, with a total of not more than 10 nights annually per retreatant. A minimum of at least 2 nights is required for a brief stay.

*Suggested arrival time is between 2:00 and 7:00 pm. Unless the reservation extends throughout the day of departure, check-out time is 10:00 am.

*(No smoking in our facilities. No children or pets, please.)

We ask a donation of at least $50 per day for overnight accommodations. Actual cost to the monks for the operation of the guest house facilities is nearly $60 per day. We are grateful to those who are able to help us cover these costs.
